After losing weight several years ago (and getting passed my 60th birthday) My face looked tired all the time. I have always loved to dress up and "go to town," visit friends and family. But I was staying home more and actually getting depressed because no matter how I dressed, cut my hair or the type (and amount) of make-up I used I never really looked good. I've never considered myself to be prettybut I always thought I could "look good." And I do have a good looking husbandwho I really wanted to keep happy.

Oh My Gosh! I am so happy that I chose Life Style Lift. After years of saying I wanted to do something about my baggy cheeks, I did. I had thought that this procedure was for other people. Then I thought that I did not want to spend time looking tired and droopy. I felt vivacious. I acted vivacious. I wanted to look vivacious.
THE FIRST APPOINTMENT
My husband had seen the number on TV and encouraged me to call. I made "just a consultation" with Dr. Himmelheber. His staff made me welcomed with a friendly smile from the minute I walked in.
When Dr. H walked in I knew that I was in good hands. I felt confident that I was going to get the best of care. He demonstrated what the procedures could do. I was thoroughly convinced. Not only would my droopy cheeks go away but I would have a chin, too!
I had to find the means to accomplish this. His office helped me with this. I made an appointment for a month out. Ooh, a month to hesitate, a month to dread, and month to back out. I found that none of this happened. Waiting for my big day was like a kid waiting for Christmas.
Of course, I was petrified. I have a huge aversion to needles. I told myself, "I know you can. I know you can."
THE SURGERY
Tuesday,February 28 was my big day. My imagined pain was enormously daunting, but Josh , Dr. H's assistant allayed my fears. I reclined in a oh so comfortable chair. I took some medication and relaxed. I did some breathing exercises.
By the time Dr. H came in to welcome me, I was quite calm. He said that he would come in soon to begin anesthetizing me. I fell asleep and was so relaxed when Dr. H began. The pain I had been dreading was not there. I felt one small prick and slept for most of the procedure.
THE RECOVERY
I walked out of the office four and a half hours after I had walked in. I was a little wobbly.And I looked a little like a zombie wrapped in gauze. My husband drove me home.
The soup for lunch was yummy and, I guess, the movie he rented was good. I fell asleep again. I must admit that I enjoyed being looked after. I took pain pills in the evening.(A reminder to eat with your pain pills.) That was the only time I needed pain medication.
The next two days I was bruised and swollen, but by Friday I was able to look in at work. I wore a scarf a la Jackie Kennedy and big glasses. I don't think anyone really saw my bruises.
On Tuesday, my stitches were removed. I imagined pain here, too. NOTHING to it. My bruising was minimal and easily covered with make up. Sleeping was not hard because of the wrapping. Although I did slide down from the pillows.
By April 14th I was in the Florida Keys at my nephew's wedding. This had been my goal - To not want to hide from the photographer, to be confident in the way I looked. Noone exclaimed, "My Goodness what have you done to yourself." They just thought that I was very well rested and had lost weight.
Now I am not embarrased to have my picture taken.I am proud to be with my four beautiful grandchildren and not sag. If I had to say what was the most uncomfortable thing about the Life Style Lift is that I itch behind my ears. That's it. Really

My experience with life style lift is a remarkable change in my life. the staff makes you feel like a VIP when you are just another patient. hi five for Dr. H, Tamara and Rachel who made me feel so welcome and comfortable. I had watched the infomercials for several months, wishing I could have it done. I finally made the decision to set up a consultation, and before I left the Lifestyle Lift office in Dallas, I had a date scheduled. First and foremost, the staff and the doctors made me feel so comfortable and like they already knew me. I have not met one person through this experience that wasn't caring and attentive, and more than willing to go the extra mile to answer questions or simply to make me feel like they really valued me as a patient. Dr. Himmelheber went way above my expectations. He was very kind, concerned, and available whenever I had a questions before and after the surgery. I was a little anxious the day of the surgery, but when I arrived, those feelings vanished. I cannot say enough good about Dr. Himmelheber. My experience has been nothing but tremendous. The results are fantastic and I couldn't be happier. I am amazed every time I look in the mirror. In this world where we are in the work force longer and competing with people much younger, it is necessary to look vibrant and young again. My Lifestyle lift was the best thing I have ever done for myself. I had the whole enchilada,face,neck,upper & lower eyes and resurfacing. I can pass a mirror now and actually look at myself, before Lifestyle I avoided mirrors. I just couldn't stand the haggard and tired look I was seeing when that person in the mirror looked back at me.The procedure was so convenient, fast and affordable and the staff is just more than accomadating and nice. They gave very detailed instructions on what to do after surgery. The recovery time was not at all what I expected, I kept thinking...when is the pain going to kick in and then I went back to work sooner than I expected because I just had very little pain, in fact I didn't really have pain it was just a little uncomfortable at times. Post-Op I looked like I lost the medal in Olympic Boxing! Once bruises and swelling began to go down, I became beautiful. Wish I had an address to send "before" and "after" pictures so the TV ads could be updated with MY results! (my printer does not have a scanner). I look a heck of a lot better than most of the women in the ads. Why do most of them have ORANGE makeup on??? Looks phony. When I have my good makeup on I look like I did in my 40's, and I'm 73!!!! I had my photo portrait taken and I'm sending copies to all my out of town relatives with a sticky note attached saying "WORTH EVERY PENNY." ON MARCH 5, 2012 I GAVE MYSELF A 67TH BITHDAY PRESENT OF A LIFESTYLE LIFT. DR. H WAS EMPATHETIC AND SUPPORTIVE AND I HAD NO FEAR OF THE PROCEDURE. A WEEK LATER I FELT AND LOOKED LIKE A NEW WOMAN. I COULD FEEL MYSELF RADIATING A GLOW THAT I HAD LOST YEARS BEFORE. NO MORE JOWLS AND NO MORE TURKEY NECK. I AM THRILLED EVERYTIME I LOOK IN THE MIRROR.

I had been considering doing something about my neck
for quite some time. But, I was nervous about whether
the end result would be worth it or not. It was so worth
it! Having the extra skin gone, left me feeling so
much better about myself. I did not have the unrealistic
expectation that I would look like a girl again, and I
clearly don't. But I look so much better that I want to
do a little dance. I was so pleasantly surprised by
the whole experience. From the moment I entered the office,
I didn't feel any nervousness. I was made to feel very
comfortable. I felt no pain at all during the procedure,
only a few pokes on my face. If you can do your eyes also,
do it! I did not, but I'm planning it for a future date.
