I want to share my incredible experience with Lifestyle Lift. A friend of mine had the procedure done. She looked younger and had a softer appearance. That is when I made the call for a consultation. My initial appointment was very informative and I was excited when I left the office, but it took me a few months to build up the courage to make the appointment. I made the decision and I have no regrets! My husband came with me for the medical consultation with Dr. Martin Weiss. He made me feel comfortable and confident that I would be very happy with the outcome - and I certainly was!
On the day of the procedure, I was met by one of the staff to take the “before pictures”. I was then greeted by Dr. Martin Weiss and was brought to the room where the procedure was performed. He and his staff were wonderful. It took approximately three hours and I have to say that I did not feel anything. I was reassured throughout the procedure that everything was going fine, and that made me feel relaxed. I felt a bit groggy when they sat me up and I asked for some water and cookies because I felt a little nauseous, but it passed. I returned the following day to have the bandages changed and was re-wrapped. The first couple of days were a little uncomfortable, but I was in no pain - my focus was on the outcome. With each passing day, I could see the results. After my six week follow-up, I compared the before and after pictures, and I could not believe the difference. I feel and look like a younger, refreshed woman! My husband looks at me and can’t believe the change. The compliments keep on coming! My younger sister now wants to have this procedure done. She told me she can’t have me look younger than her (she is very happy for me!). I love the new me, and I want to thank Dr. Weiss and his staff again who truly made this a wonderful experience!

February 2013, I just came in for a consultation, but left with a scheduled appointment, for two weeks later, for a Lifestyle Lift and Fractional Laser Skin Treatment. From the minute I walked in I was put at ease. Carol Daly was my consultant and was she ever good, no pressure just good information. Then I met Chris the Tech. He was funny polite and had a great accent. Then the best, met Dr. Anthony Weikel,MD. I had asked to meet an experienced older Doctor and there he was. He is relaxed, professional and knows what he is doing. My procedure was on 2-27-2013. The pre op meds relaxed me and I just sat quietly while the Doctor and Tech worked on me. I can honestly say there was no pain to speak of just the needle pricks. In no time I was ready to go home. Returned next day, all was well and went home. My face was a bit red but still went about my daily routine. Came back one week later to have stitches removed. Had my after pictures taken 4-10-2013. It is a lovely change, could not be happier, just what I wanted. I am 71 and look a youthful 60 something. My outside now looks like my inside feels. Oh, a nice thing, Dr.Weikel talked to me the whole procedure. We talked about horses(am horse person) and he sang to me, such a character. The first meeting I had the staff was excellent and everything was explained regarding the entire process from beginning to end. My Consultant, Carol was so patient with me. She knew I was nervous. So the day of the procedure I had medicine to relax me and before pictures were taken. My face was numbed up and the procedure started. Music was playing and Dr. Weikel sang while doing the procedure. The procedure went faster than I expected. The next day I returned to have my bandages removed. I was very nervous about doing this procedure. Dr. Weiss and his staff answered all my questions and I was completely confident of my decision after my consultation. The procedure went better than I expected. I went home and followed the post care procedures exactly and it worked out well. The second week, if I wanted I could wear makeup and cover up the swelling. The swelling on my eyes went down about the third week, and the swelling on my ear lobes was down by the fourth. I felt I could go out without makeup. When I went back on week six for my pictures I couldn't believe it was me! The tired eyes were gone and the sagging neck disappeared. I looked so much younger! i am not good at writing but there was no pain - - just a little discomfort. The day they took my stitches out was the ticket for me to be on the go again. My down time only because of a bandage was one week. after that - take daily pictures and watch your face transform into a beautiful feature of yourself. I t mad me feel twenty years younger and I have to tell you I act that way too.

From beginning to end, everyone was helpful, informative and caring. I had thought about a face lift for 2 years before deciding to go to Lifestyle Lift for a consultation. I took all the info I got and discussed it with my Primary Care doctor. He was very positive about the way Lifestyle Lift does the procedures and supported my decision to go with them for my surgery. I met with members of the staff at Lifestyle Lift in late summer. They were pleasaant and informative. I listened to them and they indeed listened to me and were in no way agressive in their manner. After careful consideration I chose to try laser resurfacing rather than a facelift - due mostly to my age. I met with the doctor a few weeks before the procedure and he was quite nice, low-key, and very easy to talk with as were all members of staff. Although I can see, and many others tell me, that I look more rested and younger, I do not feel I was not fully informed prior to surgery regarding the ordeal this could be for some patients and has been for me.
I was completely awake for the entire hour and a half procedure feeling throughout that I was choking. The swelling, pain and immobility of the first week was extremely hard. I had to arrange for additional help that could have been pre-arranged had I known.
The greatest, and ongoing, difficulty that I'm having still, however, is loss of function. I cannot lift, push or pull anything without muscle strain. I still have a sensation of near choking at times. Three months after my procedure and I still cannot lift weights for my osteoporosis, housework is very difficult and I have to lift my briefcase with great care. I was finally told at my follow up appt. that it could be many more months before my muscles relax enough for me to feel comfortable and function normally.
I'm an extremely busy professional and wish I'd been given the opportunity to make a fully informed decision about this procedure. I really don't know, if I had received full disclosure, whether I would have done it or not. Until I have full function back, I don't think I'll be able to appreciated an improvement in my appearance.
