As I walked through the double doors to Lifestyle Lift, I was anxious and apprehensive. I thought to myself, "what am
I doing?" I was then greeted by a pleasant speaking receptionist, who immediately put me at ease. Each step that I took the day of the consulation was more informative than the next. I met with Kimberly Lewis, a technician, who was extremely patient, knowledgeable and well versed in the procedure. I knew then that I had come to the right place.
All my fears were then put aside. I was talked through the procedure by Kim, giving me all details as to the drugs that I will be taking prior and after surgery, in depth instructions as to how to clean the stitches, and what to anticipate after the surgery. I met with the doctor, after talking with Kim, and the doctor only solidified and reiterated the course of action that was previously discussed. What I admired, was the fact that nothing was held back. Any question that I asked was not skirted, but answered honestly and in depth. My recovery time was 13 days. I was able to put on my makeup, and go back to work as if nothing ever happened. WPB has an impeccable staff and they deserve kudos! I was nervous about my experience which I think is normal, but it was a good experience and quick recovery. Dr. Karolak was an excellent doctor as was his staff. I had the neck done and even though it looked much better a year later I just wasn't all that pleased for what I felt I spent. I went back to the doctor and he used a machine on the neck a few times. He then talked to me about a procedure he had done before which had good results and I agreed to do it. This procedure did improve the neck, tightened it up more and that experience was good. I believe these type of surgeries are worth it for self esteem and just plain looking better. I would like to emphasize that Dr. Karolak wouldn't give up on making me happy. He was determined to make me feel good and look better. He is a compassionate doctor that went above and beyond his job. I would highly recommend him. I am so excited after my lifestyle lift. I am told many times that I look years younger. That was a plus. I just wanted to look better, which I do. I also had the laser resurfacing. My skin looks so much younger and pink. The age spots and uneven skin are almost completely gone. I feel like a new woman. I wished that I hadn't waited so long. I cannot say that I had pain, just discomfort and not for too long and it was well worth it. My arthritis is way worst than anything associated with the procedure for the lifestyle lift and the laser prodedure. I cannot recommend it enough. Please ladies and gentlemen, don't wait. Do it now. My goal was NOT to look younger(I earned every wrinkle and did not want to hide them). But, one day when I looked in the mirror I saw that I had developed a third chin under my second chin. Hello to those who would be reading this. My name is Leslie, and this is my story.
Going back to 2009 my Husband and I wanted to change a few things in our appearance, even though, we are only in our 40’s gravity has not been kind to us. Greg (my Husband) had serious bags under his eyes that he could not tolerate anymore. Me? Well, I was concerned with my jaw, never really had a jaw line definition, mostly muscle and skin in the wrong places, anyways. We learned about Lifestyle Lift through advertising. Greg and I discussed about visiting the Tampa office and see what can be done for us. We met the team at that time and the assigning Doctor. We did schedule for surgery for both of us, I was supposed to go first, however, last minute, I decided not to, I just had an uncomfortable feeling and I could feel the tension throughout the office. Women’s intuition I guess, I just felt they could not do what I really needed to be done and will be happy with. Please do not get me wrong, the original Team was very Professional and Courteous, however, I was just not feeling it, it just seemed like something was missing for me. So, Greg went first with his surgery. After it was over he liked the results, and was satisfied, I thought it was ok, he’s still handsome no matter what, inside and out.

2009 Did not happen. 2010 Did not happen. 2011 Finally Happened!
In between the years I decided to do further research for what I wanted to accomplish, I’m thinking at this point I will need to go to a Plastic Surgeon for extreme lower jaw definition. I wanted an extreme change.
One night, knowing how concerned I was about this, Greg said for me to look into the Lifestyle Lift again since the Doctor he had is no longer there and there would be a new Doctor that might be able help me. After much consideration, I went for it. I was nervous, to say the least, but as soon as I walked into those doors I felt immediate comfort, like I belonged, Lifestyle Team Tampa, (that is what I call them) Awesome People! They treated me like family and a friend, no, it is more than that, they LISTENED to my concerns. There was no tension within the team members; they seem to care about each other too! Which you do not see very often these days. It was nice to see everyone working together almost as one; they also knew right away which Doctor would be the best for me. Dr. Swerdloff.
Dr. Swerdloff is a spectacular Doctor and a person who cares about what he is doing. That is for certain. He explained fully what can be done, what can be achieved, and have the extreme look I was going for without adding a silicone chin and etc. Although, this could be done if I was not pleased but would not be necessary. Immediately I knew he was the right Doctor for me.
Well, as of August 23, 2011, I went through my surgery. What can I say…? I LOOK FABULOUS! Yes, that’s right! He did it! It’s been a week and I can already see the results! Way to go Lifestyle Team Tampa!
You all have been very incredible people that have been with me every step of the way. Hats off to all of you!
Thank you so much! Oh, I almost forgot. I have to go back in a few weeks to do photo shots. I cannot wait. If you could only see the before and after photos, you would be amazed!
