I looked fat in every photo because of my flabby neck. It made me feel old. I had my neck done and I didn't want my face touched . I got exactly what I asked for! Dr. Wise was very kind and explained everything. I am very happy with the results. When a new acquaintance said she could not believe that I would be 70 on my next birthday and she thought I was 55, I felt like a million dollars!
The staff was very nice and quite knowledgeable. The follow up was great. I was swollen for a while and a little black and blue but I expected it. I only needed 2 pain pills and nothing else.
Don't expect to look 25 if you are over 50! That takes a miracle! Expect to look a lot better and a bit younger! I am very pleased . ... READ MORE»

I was doing volunteer work with hospice patients and I kept hearing, "Are you sad today?", What's wrong? Are we having a bad day? Why are you so upset?" I wasn't feeling any of those emotions or state of mind but that is what the 'world' was seeing. It was extremely confusing and I had never had such communications as I am very happy in life, spiritual and love living...so why was I hearing this? Taking a long look in the mirror, I began to realize that the reality of skin is not the reality of my heart or soul. Then I saw the ads on TV, Debby Boone is credible to me and I gave a call, but my spiritual side took over and I felt vanity taking over, I waited a year! Now I see what a waste that was.
I've never felt that appearances were that important and then it dawned on me. I spoke with a rep again met with Dr. Malcom Paul who listened carefully to my concerns, understood my confusion, and was moved when I told him about the person who said that my face looked so sad that I made him want to cry! Dr. Paul is kind, caring and special, he even told me about his childhood, how he almost died and that is why he became a doctor. He wanted to help others. I never had a doctor open up like that and it really moved me! Since then my care with Dr. Paul has been phenomenal. He even encouraged me with my career and offered suggestions and always takes time with my questions. He is and always will be my "Aging with Grace" doctor and I really am thankful for having him in my life. I recommend him to all of you who are wondering what to do with this confusion of aging. Call and ask to see Dr. Malcom Paul! ... READ MORE»

Although I was not aware of the discomfort expected that first week, I got through it. I followed the directions given. I really did not have pain but did take a couple of the pills provided. I tried hard to think about what Dr. McNeese said about the third week. It was certainly better the second week and the third week I felt good enough to visit a friend in New Mexico.
Am I happy that I did it? Absolutely! Do I look like a teenager? No, I did not want to. I like getting comments like, "you look great, less tired, so refreshed, what's going on, you look so happy". I did not want to advertise that I had something done.
Dr. McNeese was recommended to me and I am happy to recommend him again. ... READ MORE»
Miami FL Age at Procedure: 58 Posted on 11-01-2013
I consider myself very lucky. Lucky that I was a good candidate for the procedure. Lucky that I had Dr. Mucci and not Dr. Rodriguez. Lucky that I only had the basic Lifestyle Lift and did not let them talk me into anything else. Lucky that I had relatively few complications.
It has been 6 months since my procedure. My face, neck and area around my ears still causes me discomfort. I still cannot lay on either ear without having to adjust my position to make sure the ear is not being bent forward. My face still hurts when I get "cheek-kisses" from friends, family and co-workers.
This is the place to go if you are a plastic surgery junky and know what to expect. They do not provide any care whatsoever; no care prior to the procedure and absolutely, positively no aftercare whatsoever. If you have a problem, you have to fight with them to get an appointment and then, they do everything in their power to place the blame of your problem squarely on your shoulders. Nothing is their fault.
They are a factory. They want to get you in and out of there as fast as possible and they never want you to come back other than to have your stitches out. Don't even attempt to call them after 4:00 pm, because as soon as the doctors are finished for the afternoon, there is no one to assist you if you are having any issues. Forget about weekends.
The morning of my procedure, the intake nurse, "Nurse Ratchet," called me to say that the doctor was running ahead of schedule and wanted me to come in 15 minutes earlier. Since I live 40 miles away from the facility and was relying on my friend to take me there, I told the nurse I would have to call her back. My friend got very irritated and told me that she would pick me up as soon as she could, but could not guarantee that we would get there 15 minutes early. Mind you, this was after my appointment time had been previously rescheduled twice and I confirmed the time twice prior to the day of surgery. When I called back to say that we would do our best, but could not guarantee that we'd be there 15 minutes early, the nurse had the gall to ask me if there wasn't someone ELSE who could bring me there! So, the day of my surgery, Nurse Ratchet completely stressed me out before I even got there.
Then, they only give you 2 tiny little Valiums before the procedure. That's it. I was awake during the entire procedure (which was going on during the Boston Bombing) and felt every single one of the more than 60 novocaine shots they gave me in my face. They oONLY use 12 syringes of novocaine, but they administer at least 6 shots per syringe, maybe more.
The surgeon was out the door before I was even out of the chair.
I didn't have any issues until they took out the stitches. Suffice it to say, I had excessive bleeding after the stitches were taken out - which they told me to "put a bandaid" on, since there were no doctors available to put in additional stitches. I had to go back for additional stitches by both ears.
I went back there no less than 6 times and each and every time, they did their best to: a) not have any appointment times available; and b) to blame my medical issues on me and not them; i.e., are you SURE you're not a smoker (no, I'm not) and are you SURE you're not a slow healer (I never was before), etc.
It is because I went back there at least 6 times that I was able to meet several other patients - some of who had REAL issues - terrible swelling, bruising, and other horribleness going on. One lady who looked exceptionally bad (she had Dr. Rogriguez) told me that she had been there every day that week (it was Friday) and that every day she saw a different nurse/doctor.
Not only is there no continuity of care. There is no care, period. They don't even pull your medical file when you're there - or, if they do, they don't bother to look at it (the nurses). You'd think that would be a standard operating procedure, but it's not.
That is why I consider myself very lucky. I did not have anything nearly as horrible going on with my face - just issues around my ears - which are still hurting 6 months later.
I'm told that I look great. But, until I feel great, if that should ever happen, I cannot enjoy my new face.
Never having had any surgery (other than dental) prior to this, I did not know what to expect. Had I known I would still feel this crummy 6 months later, I may never have gone through with the procedure.
But, it is what it is. I don't think that their prices are that much lower than at any other facility. If you need any TLC, this is not the place for you. ... READ MORE»

I am very pleased with my results. It's now 5 months after my surgery. I do not wish to have pictures published due to my job, however.
I had a liftstyle lift, full face laser, and upper and lower eye lid surgery. Pain was minimal and I didn't need anything much after the first day. Just get through the first week before you panic about something.
I did everything I was instructed to do, and I know this is very important to your results. I wore the wrap around my head continuously for 7 days and then every night for another 3 weeks. Also, I took bromelin and Vitamin C every day which I believe helped with the bruising.
These are not procedures without pain or swelling, so be prepared for that. I did not have a lot of swelling, but it's clear from my pictures the first week that my face was swollen.
I could go back to work in public within 10 days. I had Memorial Day weekend to recover and worked the next week in my home office, so it did not disrupt my life too much. I was able to go back to light exercise after a week.
The staff at the Atlanta office are very kind and helpful and Dr. Whitaker did any excellent job working with me. ... READ MORE»
